Indian Shopper can now order Sneakers in Metaverse For Week-long: Reports.
Consumers who are based in India are now getting enough options for a digital shopping experience as important local e-commerce platforms are experimenting more day by day with blockchain and also the metaverse.
Because of the increasing blockchain and metaverse
experimentations by India’s topmost local e-Commerce companies, consumers are
said to be now capable of having this opportunity of digital purchasing.
According to reports, presently Indian consumers can also test the
goods from companies such as Nivea and Puma in the gamified and interactive
metaverse. This is because of the introduction of a metaverse arena by the
local e-commerce platform Flipkart. Flipkart now allows its users to go through
their website and shop for the product they are interested in through a
photorealistic virtual location. This news is available when we search for metaverse news
worldwide.
Flipkart made an official announcement of the launch of Flipverse
on the 17th of
October this year. It targets bringing the best of online as well as offline
shopping experiences for customers. Flipverse is developed with the
collaboration of Polygon incubated organization eDAO. It allows people to build
a metaverse avatar to shop in the virtual world. Through this, they aim to
bring their customers closer to their most loved brands.

However, Flipkart is not a single company that chose to
experiment with the metaverse in
India. The Indian multinational technology firm Tech Mahindra recently
announced the launch of TechMVerse in the month of February this year. They are
targeting to provide a communicative and engaging experience to their customers.
As per reports, in the month of July 2022, the company was working on more than
60 metaverse
projects as well.
